Who We Are
Tom and Laurie have over 20 years of combined experience in the Veterinary sector, working in charity, first opinion and referral practice.
“As our own pets got older, we began to think about what we would want when the time came to say goodbye.
We know that our pets are most comfortable, and most relaxed at home, and set up Peaceful Paws to offer this service to anyone who would rather say goodbye to their pet outside of a Veterinary Surgery.
We never intend to replace your current vet. We offer another option, in the evenings and at weekends, for families who would rather say goodbye at home.”

Laurie Adams

Laurie has been a Registered Veterinary Nurse since 2015, working in charity, first opinion, out of hours, and most recently specialist referral veterinary practice. She has a keen interest in Schedule 3 procedures in small animal surgery and in developing the next generation of veterinary nurses. She is currently Head of Nursing Services at a large referral hospital.

RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal SurgeryTom qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon from the University of Glasgow in 2013, working in the charity veterinary sector with postgraduate qualifications in Small Animal Surgery and Veterinary Business Management. He is a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery, and is currently working as the Veterinary and Behaviour Director for an animal welfare charity.
